Giving Back

St Anthonys

SunPubs aims to do more than bring good times to the area.

We also strive to make our community a better place for the people who live and visit here. SunPubs is proud to work closely with St. Baldrick’s Foundation to fight childhood cancer, main sponsor and supporter of the annual St. Anthony’s Triathlon held in downtown St. Petersburg, and The Cupid Undie Run.

We also support our community by working with a variety of charities to host events and provide donations for philanthropic events and initiatives.

SunPubs Shines the Light of Giving on Local Communities

SunPubs, a dining and entertainment group that takes hospitality to the next level, is ending a year of significant donations to the communities that host its waterfront restaurants, including thousands of dollars in discounted meals to veterans and other local heroes. The company led various community initiatives in 2023, from supporting local heroes and military veterans to underprivileged families and young cancer patients.

SunPubs operates restaurants and entertainment venues in the Tampa-St. Petersburg area on Florida’s Gulf Coast, including MacDinton’s Irish Pub, Caddy’s Waterfront Restaurant, Sculley’s Waterfront Restaurant, Mad Beach Cantina and The Grove SoHo. Guests dine and socialize on the waterfront in laidback but sophisticated surroundings featuring high-quality buildouts, local artist decor and environmentally conscious materials. The group strives to make the community a better place for the people who live in and visit the areas that they serve and is proud to work closely with a variety of local nonprofit organizations to raise funds to support their missions.

“At SunPubs, we’re committed to giving back to our communities,” said Randy Esponda, CEO and Managing Partner of SunPubs. “Supporting these projects, environmental initiatives and local charities not only enriches the areas we operate in but also enhances the dining experience for our customers, reflecting our dedication to being a positive, integral force in every location.”
